STRIDEDEX TERMS OF USE

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the StrideDex mobile application and related services (“StrideDex,” the “App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using StrideDex, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. STRIDEDEX SERVICES
StrideDex is a fitness and nutrition application designed to help users manage their fitness journey in one place.
Features may include:
• Nutrition and calorie tracking
• Macro tracking
• Food, meal, nutrition label, and restaurant menu scanning
• Personalized workout recommendations
• Meal recommendations
• AI-assisted fitness and nutrition features
• Progress, weight, measurement, and performance tracking
• Personalized coaching, guidance, and recommendations
Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed as StrideDex develops.
2. ELIGIBILITY
You must be legally permitted to use StrideDex and enter into these Terms.
If you are under the age required to consent to these Terms in your jurisdiction, you may use StrideDex only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.
3. USER ACCOUNTS
Certain StrideDex features may require an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity occurring through your account.
You agree to provide accurate information and to update it when necessary.
You may not impersonate another person, create an account using another person's information without permission, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account.
4. STRIDEDEX PREMIUM
StrideDex may offer free features as well as paid features through StrideDex Premium.
StrideDex Premium is currently offered as an automatically renewing monthly subscription.
The subscription price displayed in the App and Apple's purchase interface at the time of purchase controls the amount you will be charged. Pricing may change in the future as permitted by applicable law and Apple's policies.
Premium features may include personalized workouts, enhanced nutrition features, food scanning, AI-assisted coaching and recommendations, progress tracking, and other functionality identified within the App.
5. SUBSCRIPTIONS, BILLING, AND CANCELLATION
Purchases made through the iOS application are processed by Apple through your Apple Account.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled in accordance with Apple's subscription terms.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple Account subscription settings.
Deleting StrideDex does not necessarily cancel an active subscription.
Payments, renewals, refunds, billing disputes, and subscription management for purchases processed by Apple are also subject to Apple's applicable terms and policies.
6. FITNESS AND NUTRITION DISCLAIMER
StrideDex provides fitness, nutrition, informational, and educational tools.
StrideDex is not a doctor, registered dietitian, medical provider, or substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Information provided through StrideDex should not be treated as medical advice.
Before beginning a new exercise program, making substantial dietary changes, or acting on information provided through the App, you should consider consulting an appropriately qualified professional, particularly when your individual circumstances warrant it.
Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by StrideDex.
7. AI AND PERSONALIZED RECOMMENDATIONS
StrideDex may use automated systems and artificial intelligence to select, personalize, modify, explain, or recommend workouts, meals, nutrition information, coaching, and other content.
These systems may consider information you provide, including goals, preferences, activity, equipment, schedule, nutrition targets, and other relevant information.
Automated recommendations may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular user.
You are responsible for evaluating recommendations before relying on or acting upon them.
8. FOOD SCANNING AND NUTRITION INFORMATION
StrideDex may estimate or identify foods, serving sizes, calories, macronutrients, ingredients, and other nutrition information using images, labels, menus, databases, user input, or automated technology.
These results are estimates and are not guaranteed to be accurate.
Actual nutritional content may vary due to serving size, preparation method, recipe, restaurant practices, manufacturer changes, image quality, and other factors.
Users should verify nutrition information when accuracy is particularly important.
9. EXERCISE SAFETY
Exercise involves inherent risks.
You are responsible for choosing exercises, resistance levels, intensity, equipment, and activities appropriate for your circumstances and abilities.
Stop exercising if you experience concerning pain, dizziness, faintness, unusual shortness of breath, or other symptoms that may require attention.
StrideDex does not guarantee that a workout or recommendation is appropriate or safe for every individual.
10. USER RESPONSIBILITIES
You agree not to:
• Use StrideDex for unlawful purposes.
• Attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the App.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to StrideDex systems or other users' accounts.
• Reverse engineer, copy, scrape, or exploit StrideDex except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Use automated systems to abuse or overload the service.
• Misrepresent information in a way intended to manipulate or misuse StrideDex features.
11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
StrideDex and its original software, branding, designs, graphics, features, text, and other content are owned by or licensed to StrideDex and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use StrideDex for its intended purposes. They do not transfer ownership of StrideDex intellectual property to you.
12. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
StrideDex may interact with or rely upon third-party platforms, technologies, databases, payment systems, or services.
Those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for third-party services to the extent permitted by applicable law.
13. AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue portions of StrideDex as the service develops.
We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available or operate without interruption or error.
14. NO GUARANTEED RESULTS
StrideDex does not guarantee specific fitness, weight, body composition, strength, health, nutrition, or other results.
Individual results depend on many factors outside StrideDex's control.
15. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, StrideDex is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that the App will always be uninterrupted, error-free, completely accurate, or suitable for every user's individual circumstances.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, StrideDex and its owners, operators, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from your use of or inability to use StrideDex.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
17. TERMINATION
You may stop using StrideDex at any time.
We may restrict or terminate access to StrideDex when reasonably necessary to protect the service, enforce these Terms, comply with legal requirements, or address misuse.
Termination of access does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. Apple subscriptions should be managed through your Apple Account.
18. PRIVACY
Your use of StrideDex is also subject to the StrideDex Privacy Policy.
Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how information is collected, used, and handled.
19. APPLE-SPECIFIC TERMS
If you access StrideDex through Apple's App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and StrideDex, not Apple.
Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for StrideDex except as required under applicable Apple policies or law.
Your use of the App must comply with applicable App Store terms.
20. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms as StrideDex develops, our services change, or legal requirements change.
When appropriate, we may notify users of material changes through the App or by updating the effective date above.
Continued use of StrideDex following an applicable update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
